The 5th Lviv International Short Film Festival WIZ-ART 2012 is four days long event offering films screening, master-classes, musical and film performances will be taking place on 26th – 29th of July in Lviv . On the 2nd of August winners will be presented in Kyiv (“Kinopanorama” cinema). Main location of the festival is Lviv Art Palace. For the current moment confirmed guests and jury members of the 5th WIZ-ART are famous French director and traveler Vincent Moon, Icelandic director Isold Ugadottir, famous Icelandic director, and Illia Gladshtein, program coordinator at IFF “Molodist”from Kyiv.
Festival will take place for the fifth time and will entertain guests with parties, bands concerts and retrospectives of partner festivals. This year we received 668 films from 49 countries all over the world. Main and hors concours program will concist of 82 films from 34 countries. WIZ-ART 2012 will present three categories of films: fiction, animation and experimental, all works are the newest and most up-to-date short films from Ukraine and from abroad.
Winners of WIZ-ART 2012 will be presented in Kyiv on the 2nd of August in “Kinopanorama” cinema. In Lviv festival will take place in its traditional location - Lviv Art Palace, Kopernika str., 17.
This year we will start Wiz-Art Lab – educational program with lectures and master classes of famous Ukrainian producers, directors and screen-writers. Larysa Artuhina, Maks Afanasiev, Oleksandr Yudin, Andriy Zlanich will share their experiences.
